The Heart Behind Ruach Ezerah Midwifery
Hi, I’m Michelle Moncrief!
I’ m a community midwife who approaches this work with warmth, openness, and care. Guided by a deep belief in the strength and wisdom of families. I approach this work with steady hands, a listening heart, and a posture of care shaped by faith, humility, and presence.
I bring calm hands, a listening heart, and a commitment to the midwifery model of care that is rooted in safety, respect, and shared decision-making. Here, you are invited to slow down, ask questions, and begin your journey feeling supported and at peace.
Philosophy of Care
Ruach Ezerah Midwifery offers individualized, respectful care that honors pregnancy and birth as both natural physiological processes and deeply personal life transitions. Care is grounded in skilled observation, thoughtful preparation, and trust in the body’s innate capabilities, with clinical discernment to support safety when needs arise. The practice emphasizes informed choice, open dialogue, trauma-aware and evidence-based care, and holistic support for body and emotional well-being. Birth and early parenthood are held as relational experiences, where feeling supported and respected fosters not just a safe birth, but a meaningful beginning for the whole family..
This work is offered with humility and gratitude, guided by trust in the quiet wisdom that accompanies each family’s path.
Statement of Ethics
Ruach Ezerah Midwifery practices within the Midwifery Model of Care, guided by dignity, transparency, and responsibility. Care is respectful, non-discriminatory, and never conditional on compliance or judgment. Practice is grounded in safety, honesty, confidentiality, and working within scope, with open communication to support informed decision-making. When needed, collaboration and referral are prioritized for continuity and safety. Ethical care includes accountability, reflection, and ongoing learning, as well as honoring professional boundaries and sustainability for both families and the midwife.
I enter this work with reverence, integrity, and faithfulness that is committed to serving with care, clarity, and responsibility.
